The Technician’s role involves carrying out service and repair tasks on various equipment, with the ability to work solo or collaboratively in a team setting. This role requires proficiency in assessing and fixing earth-moving machinery. Comprehensive training encompassing hands-on experience, classroom learning, and online modules is a must for ongoing participation in our technician training initiative. The Technician should display proactive behavior, team spirit, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to efficiently identify and resolve issues. Progression within the role is based on the individual’s attitude, skill enhancement, and overall job performance.
– Complies diligently with all relevant safety protocols and guidelines
– Plans and executes minor repair tasks using appropriate tools and techniques
– Manages the timely procurement and return of parts for designated tasks
– Capable of performing tasks on fundamental work area components like engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems, including removal, installation, disassembly, reassembly, and minor modifications
– Skilled in conducting Preventive Maintenance services as per official standards
– Demonstrates efficient utilization of service information systems
– Collaborates as an assistant in field services with a seasoned technician when necessary
– Undertakes independent field assignments as needed

High School or Equivalent or better.
A minimum of one (1) year work experience involving mechanical repairs or a combination of relevant experience and equivalent technical education is required. Experience using personal computers, and basic typing skills are required.
